Does Bookmark Buddy work with Firefox Quantum?

You can open bookmarks in Firefox Quantum, but at present you cannot 'fetch' bookmarks. This is because the Firefox developers have stripped out support for DDE inter-application communication and now requires the development of a browser-specific plug-in.

You can however add bookmarks by dragging the icon in the address bar onto Bookmark Buddy. If you set up the hot key to 'Activate Bookmark Buddy', type that key combination as you drag the URL and Bookmark Buddy will pop to the front.
